• About Dr. Fung

    Dr. Romi Fung, ND graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, Canada's premier institution in the education of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, Ontario with a Doctor of Naturopathy. During his clinical internship at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic, Brampton Civic Hospital and Sherbourne Health Clinic, Dr. Romi has seen a variety of health conditions, including Autoimmune conditions such as Lupus, Wegener's Granulomatosis and Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, Metabolic conditions such as Diabetes, Mental Health concerns and Digestive complaints that all responded positively to Naturopathic Medicine.


Prior to his medical training, Dr. Romi did his Bachelors of Science degree in Health Sciences from Simon Fraser University. Dr. Romi is also a Nutritional Coach from Precision Nutrition, as well as a Bowen Therapist. Dr. Romi has a strong clinical interest in geriatric health especially in the treatment of Alzheimer's Disease but welcomes a general practice of all ages. He believes that to optimize the health of the seniors, one must also be mindful of the health of the adults and adolescents today. He believes that health involves aging with vitality, purpose, and generosity of spirit, and thus wishes to empower his patients by teaching the foundations of health as doctor; better known as 'docere' meaning 'Doctor as Teacher.'

    In his spare time, you can find Dr. Romi reading at Minoru Park, or at the libraries and coffee shops in Richmond. Dr. Romi Fung is a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND), British Columbia Naturopathic Association (BCNA) and the College of Naturopathic Physicians of British Columbia (CNPBC).
